help - sasha cut her paw pad

Sasha jumped our backyard fence into a neighbor's yard, then sideways into the next neighbor'syard, then ran down the street. She ran back to me after I climbed the fence after her. But after we got back home I noticed little blood spots on the floor. She cut her right front paw pad, the big one behind the toes. It is not deep but it is pretty through so there it is a hinge. It has been raining here all day and so the backyard is a swamp.
I would like to avoid taking her to the vet because she is vet-aggressive and so he would have to knock her out to even examine her (versus reallyupsetting her) - which would mean she is there all day blah blah.
I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide - which she shook her paw like a little kid and screamed - it was gut wrenching.
Anyone have experience with paw pad cuts? Should I just take her in or can I keep an eye on it and see how it goes?
Thanks!

When Patch cut his paw i just wiped it clean with isocol rubbinh alcohol and left it.
he is a dog, and the cut will heal.

on a separate issue, but something that you raised in your post... have you tried to combat the vet-aggressiveness?

Is sasha like this with all strangers?

i know there are training techniques you can teach which basically teach the dog to sit and stay and allow contact by another person - they teach us this at training school. Patch is generally hyperactive (like all pups), but we've taught him to do this. he will sit and look at me and let the trainer touch him and pat him without him jumping up.
A topic just started about this the other day... I dunno if it answers your questions or not, I hadn't read through it all the way. Hopefull it does!
