So Malia ( almost 4 month old puppy) won't stop itching. I'm noticing it a lot now. Sometimes when I look at her I see lots of dandruff flakes. I'm thinking it's dry skin? But I also thought it was fleas because about 3 weeks ago I spotted a single flea jumpin around our bed! YUCK !! I bought her some flea medicine and I thought the itching was getting better. Now it's back. And she's always chewing her paws. Obviously this could be some sort of allergic reaction.. But to what? I feed her blue buffalo grain free. Btw, her nail beds aren't red or swollen so I don't think the allergy has gotten to bad. Or could this just be dry skin?

We have an appt. on the 15th but I was seeing if there was something I can do in the mean time ?

See if the vet can see her now since its sort of an emergency, it could be fleas , if you don't treat your home the fleas are still there.. Both dog and home and yard must be treated to work

Get some food grade Diatomaceous Earth, it works well for keeping a flea free home. Plus it is harmless to you and your pets, unlike many other options for flea treatment.
