my french bulldog had one at 9months.... she wouldnt go up or down stairs, and would cry and limp around when shed play too hard.....ended up being the tissue and cartledge in her hip sockets were not supporting the bone...my vet gave me these chews to give to her twice a day, and about a month went by shes beeeeennn excellent!!!
You can get a puppy evaluated by OFA at any age over 4 months, but the 'official' rating will not be determined till the dog is 2 years old. 2 years old is also the youngest recommended breeding age by many medium and large breed parent clubs. Coincidence? LOL

At two years, the dogs skeletal and muscular growth has completed. The dogs bone and muscular structure goes through many changes as the dog ages, and needs to be evaluated after this growth is over.
