Nelson has a patch on one eye so he only really has one eye with tear stain problems. how do i get rid of it? its just a brown smudge under his eye. Are there any home remidies or even something i can get from a petshop that will clean it up? i always make sure i wipe away any 'eye boogers' when he gets them but the tear stains still come.

Tear stains are caused by yeast, so anything that will help with yeast will work.
Some people use Angel Eyes which you put in food, I personally use Eye Envy www.eyeenvy.com on my
white pomeranian, some old fashioned people have used hydrogen peroxide. I used to use that on my cat years ago
with no problems, but I don't know if there is anything that could happen with it.
