You need to upload them to a photo hosting site, such as Photobucket(it's free to sign up.)Hi. I am not very good with computers and have a bit of trouble understanding. All my photos are in a folder in my computer but when I click on any of them I cant seem to find an IMG code or a LINK. Where do I find these? Do my photos have to be somewhere "special" to get either of these? (IMG/link)? I can put photos in the photo album here but cant work out how to add them to threads or in the photo thread as I dont have/know where to find the codes for them. Thanks.![]()
Thanks for checking! Patience is my middle name. LolLet me check with administration. Photobucket or your personal file was the only way
but things change so it may have been updated by now.
Give til Tuesday or Wednesday for an answer being that it is a weekend. Thanks.
Here you go:
1) Is there a way insert a picture just like above..but not use the URL or photobucket? I belong to another forum and it's wonderful for Ipad and IPhone users. Can submit with a click right off our camera rolls! In fact, you can take the picture and insert using the same icon here..OR choose existing from the camera roll.
When you post, there is a button below the boxed area where you type in your message called "Go Advanced." When you click on that, you will see that you have more options to type in your post, including a button called "manage attachments."
This is how you can upload an image from your computer or tablet into a post. The caveat on using this method is that you're limited to how many images you can upload with your account unless you upgrade to a paid membership, in which case, you'll have a higher storage limit on your account here.
