Hello everyone,
I just found this wonderful forum! Wow, it's great to meet other bullie owners! English Bulldogs are pretty rare in our area (not to mention costly), so this board is a wonderful treat for me!

My name is Donna, and I live in North Carolina. I am married, have 5 children, an English Bulldog and a Boxer. I work a full-time job as a Secretary.....and I work a part time home business dealing with our pets' health (which is very rewarding and what I'd love to do FULL TIME)!

I'm anxious to start reviewing all the topics in this forum.....and hope to be able to contribute to some of the discussions!

Blessings,
Donna

What part of NC are you from if you dont mind me asking :?:
I don't mind Erica

Erica,
I'm from Salisbury, NC (between Charlotte & Greensboro). I see that you're from the outerbanks! TOO COOL. We also own a place at Carolina Beach. Do you know where either of these places are?

How long have you had a bulldog? Mine is 2 years old.

Hey, welcome to the forum! I live on the Outer Banks also. Is Carolina Beach near Atlantic Beach? I was there once, pretty nice down there. What type of home business do you do part time, if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to do something like that myself!

Responses....

I'm new to this board so I don't know how to respond to each post individually.....so I'm going to respond to both.

SHAWN - No, Carolina Beach is not close to Atlantic Beach. Do you know where Wilmington is? Or Myrtle Beach? That's the vicinity that Carolina Beach is in (way south of you). I work a home business that sells unique health products (has over 100 patents) for the pets' immune system. Until I started with this business over a year ago, I had NO IDEA that the immune system affects EVERY function of a pet's body, so it's imperative to keep it as healthy as possible. And things like stress, poor nutrition, boredom, lack of exercise/sleep, the aging process, etc., can actually compromise and weaken the immune system. And when it's compromised, that's when diseases, viruses, bacteria, germs, etc. attack the body. It's been a very rewarding business for me....as I am passionate about helping our furry friends!

ERICA - What a small world!! What kind of competition in Greenboro was your daughter in? Wow, you've owned bulldogs for 16 years?? I know where I can get expert advice from now, as I am a fairly new bullie owner! :) I've posted some questions in the health forum that I bet you can help answer for me.

It's so great to meet you all!!!! And I love looking at the different pictures of these beautiful creatures!!

Isn't Atlantic Beach down near Wilmington? Sorry, I thought it was.

That does sound like a rewarding "job." I'd like to learn more. I've been around bully breeds for about 10 years, but have A LOT to learn.

Shawn,
I have a LOT to learn about bullies --that's for sure!! That's why this forum is so great -- I'm hoping to learn a lot more!!

How many bullies (and what breed) do you presently own?

I noticed in your profile that you work in Public Utilities. How ironic is that???? I also work in Public Utilities as a Secretary! What do you do?

There's always more to learn.

I have 3 bullies, Banter Bulldogges. See my signature for their photos and a link to their history.

I'm an Operations Administrator for a company called Enviro-Tech, a public water treatment company. We sell, design, install, and operate water treatment facilities all along the east coast of NC.

Trina, you could always move to NC. I picked up and moved from PA to NC two years ago...
Welcome to the forum...I am new here and I am learning a great deal from it. Also own an EB
