I'm so proud of my big guy!

Last night my husband took Chopper out for a walk. As I've said before, he's got issues with other dogs. So they get to a house a few blocks away and Scott (my DH) hears a noise coming towad them. He said this Border Collie got out the door as a guy was taking out the trash. He put Chopper into a "sit, stay" with some coaxing from his prong collar.....and he did! The dog ran right up to Chopper and sniffed him. Scott said Chopper was whining like crazy and you could tell he wanted a piece, but he sat and stayed right by Scott's side. the guy came running out and apologized and got his dog and commented on how well behaved Chopper was. Oh, if he only knew... :roll:

Anyway, I was so impressed by Chopper and my husband and wanted to brag a bit. I certainly couldn't handle him in that way. Jazzy I can, but Buddy Boi is just too big for me to be comfortable handling out and about for that very reason. If a dog came running out I'm not positive he'd listen to me. :?
