We had 3 kids...I just didn't make a fuss of each baby when we brought them home from the hospital...

...we also let the dogs snuffle them thoroughly (fully supervised of course)...and then played with the dogs - gave them treats and fussed over them a wee bit (didn't overdo it)...it was all good...
Thanks i think chief will do good he just has a problem when he see our neighbor kid running he wants to run after him and like grab there shirt of pants and hold on to it and make them stop running so he can lick them in the face i guess because he always jumps up in my arms and gives me kisses he expects every to do that to him but he has always been good during introduction

Tora is fine around babies, she sniffs them and that is about it........Just don't ever leave them alone and you will be fine
I have 3 children and we only had Molly had at the time but what we did my husband brought home the blanket the babies were wrapped up in at the hospital and let the dog sniff the blanket out this way she would get the sent of the baby and when we brought the babies home the dog was fine. Curious of course so we held the baby down and let her sniff and all but she was fine the only time she got startled was the first few cries and she went over to look to see were it was coming from. With toddlers you just want to be sure the pup wont jump on them knows it's boundaries with the kids.Buster came along when my son was 1 1/2 and they bonded instantly.I have yet to have a problem but my kids no to treat all of are animals with respect and are animals know there limits with the kids although there are a few occasional accidents but that is all it is is an accident such as when my son walked past the Buster while he was in full charge after his ball and my son got flipped up in the air but he laughed about it,same thing happened with my daughter looked like something out of a movie  You'll be fine when it comes time for those lil ones
