Hi! I just joined today. Greetings from the Canadian Prairies! We're heading off to look at a stray tomorrow. She looks like an AB to me although the shelter has her listed as a Pit Bull/Dalmation X. That's her head in my avatar. She's ~ 1 year old and weighs about 70 lbs.

We have 3 other dogs. A 13-year old corgi, a 9-year old retriever and a 9-month old mini dachsie! I'm hoping this girl will be able to hang out with the older dogs, play with the retriever and be a companion for the puppy since they're close to the same age (given time of course)...

We also have host of other critters. And 3 kids  .

Although we have owned a bull terrier, I know very little about ABs...I'm hoping you guys will have all the answers to all my many questions!

Welcome to the forum. Lots and lots to learn about AB's and Pit Bulls.
First thing is that our bullies can be dog aggressive so you do want to proceed with caution
when introducing her to your dogs, especially the little ones. Read as much as you can on them.

By the way she looks like a Pit Bull to me. They are including Dalmation because she has spots
but a lot of White Pit Bulls have spots like Dalmations.

Thanks everyone! :D

We went to see her today and she's very sweet...I wrote more about her in the Adoption folder...

She's getting spayed on Thursday and she'll come to her new home with us to recoup!

We're calling her Celeste.

...and I goofed...the shelter had her listed as a Boxer/Dalmation X...I think she's an AB...at least in part!
