Suprise suprise she ate something....

but she ate my batting glove?!!?!? I think she left 2 scraps just to show me. But two pieces were in scraps so I was hoping everything else was too so she would slowly poop it out.

well she just threw up all of her breakfast twice, the 2nd one had some black in it (probably from the dye of the glove) but I don't think there is any cloth in it.

So I'm assuming the glove is just sitting in her stomach and thats why she threw up her food. Should I give her some hydogen peroxide to try to throw up the rest of it?

Maddi was running around the yard with about 18 inches of black trash bag dangling from the tail end this morning. I had to help her out with that . :puke:

I'm not glad this happened to Kate, but I'm glad I read this post...Koda eats everything in sight - whether it's edible or not - and I had never heard of the hydrogen peroxide trick! Thanks!

P.S. Not to add fuel to the fire...but you see how IMFORMATIVE & HELPFUL this site can be when we are actually conversing about our DOGS and not fighting like little kids???

I can't get over the trash bag thing!!! Lord help me if I ever have to help anything come out of that part of my dog!! That is just gross!! But, I guess you do what you have to!!
actually it is bad to help/assist anything coming out the poop shoot..... my rott once ate a balloon and i did the deed....not fun....but my VET said to NEVER do that again....when pulling out of the intestine it is possible for things to get tangled.... therefore, very dangerous and possibly fatal to the dog/cat

Just an FYI on the Hydrogren Peroxide thing... some places say you can give them just straigh hydro.... I felt a little off doing that so thats why I did half and half with water (another site had suggested that).

But they also said give 1 tbsp for every 10lbs.... that means Kate would have needed 6 tablespoons  I think thats a TON. So I only used 2.... she threw up PLENTY. I don't even want to think about how much she would have thrown up with 6!

PS.. Thank you guys so much for the kind words to Kate!! She was down and out right after... but throwing up will do that to ya! but later that night she was fine
