is it normal for a dog to lactate after heat even if she's not pregnant! and if so how long is it supposted to last? i've heard of "false pregnancy"....could it be that?

I have a female that does that every cycle..it generally takes her about 4-6 weeks after her cycle to completely dry up, although every female is a bit different. It is nothing to be concerned about, but if you are keeping her intact, it might not hurt to have her thyroid checked out just to be sure.

Wrap them with vet wrap and stuff cabbage leaves in there...Oh it's the dog!!

do you think i should il get it checked out if i'm having her spayed?

Mention it to the vet, for sure, when you have her surgery.
