Does anyone have any recommendations on some long lasting chew treats? When I leave for work, I like to give Zeus something to “work at.” It seems he can whoof-down just about anything in minutes. Stuffed Kongs work great, but I am looking for more alternatives. I have found bully sticks to be really good also, but was curious to see if I am overlooking anything else.

Bully sticks are good But I wouldn't leave him unattended with them . They swell up in the stomach if they swallow unchewed pieces

Grrrrrreat. I made the mistake of rawhide, until he almost choked to death on a Dingo bone. Vet also told me rawhide was horrible for dogs too.
Definitely want something he can have unattended.

I get mine frozen at our local grocery store. You can also get them from a butcher shop or meat market. Cheap, too. I've heard somewhere that coconuts work too :lol:
Coconuts sounds like a good idea. I also heard somewhere that drag racing slicks are a good chew. They are virtually indestructable, no cords, chewy. rubbery, etc.
Duno, but also sounds like a good idea. Of course providing they arent treated or anything...dirty, oil , etc.........
