why do you want to beed her soooooo young, or at all even?
All my dogs have been rescued but I wanted to say Welcome and tell you what a beauty you have there!
Is this a test? :)

If not, I'm gonna go find a quiet place to hide. :happy1:

I'm not wanted to breed her RIGHT NOW. Just to have things lined up. And give her time to know the stud. I've read posts on breedin' on this site and I don't wanna hear all those WHAT IFS. I love my dog and she deserves the chance to be a mother in the future.
Honestly I don't know of any stud service... I'm not sure if this is a good place to start. You may find some valuable info though. Be prepared for tension because people on this forum are very passionate about this sort of thing. I do wish you luck. Your girl is quite lovely! Welcome, and I hope you find what you need.

Thanks for the courage. I'm searchin info on breedin' before I do...so it will be awhile when she is bred. Does anyone know when it is BEST to breed the female?
Some members that I would refer you to for this information... (just search around on threads, or look at the member list to PM them.)

You want breeding info, ask Carrie -- she is/was an AB breeder, I believe... please correct me if I'm wrong. She is a WEALTH of information.
ALSO -- Amocat00 is relatively new to his breeding program, he is on his 2nd litter, he will have some great tips for you.

Other info you might find useful:

If you want working dog information, ask Lisa -- great resource.

You want training info -- PeterC (if he has returned)... Lisa is also very knowledgeable, her dogs are both in Schutzhund and she knows her $hit.

You want medical advice, ask Miakoda -- our forum vet tech (?) I think.. please excuse me if I am wrong on the title. She can tell you just about anything related to your dog's health.

General information on your dog's growth and development -- Hausmommy. If she doesn't know the answer, she will find it for you!

And if you're just looking for compassion and understanding, had a bad day, need a hug, LOL -- look for me, or gazar.

If you're looking for a good time and fun place to learn, just look around you, because this is the best bulldog forum on the web!!

thanks for the advice ^_^
When my family used to breed Golden Retrievers we never bred the dog before 2 years old. Also make sure you get the testing for breeding, there is a lot of work and money involved in breeding.

(Now wait for the bomb to go off)
Not every female dog deserves to be a mother. And it's not like she will have empty nest syndrome or something if she's not bred at the first heat.

BTW, it's not "what if", it's "what for?".

Wow! There is so much that, apparently, I'm not supposed to say anymore. :(

Cause ya know, if they're gonna "fall in love", they gotta get to know each other right?

Your dog is not a person. Walt Disney was wrong! Animals cannot secretly talk, they don't have cognitive thought, they don't fall in love, and they don't regret not having a litter.

It's obvious though, that you've got $$$$$ in your sparkling eyes.

I'm sure that you can succeed at breeding your dog. But why? Go ask any forum moderator, on any bulldog forum, whether they think you should do this.

People amaze me.

ps......we do have someone on this forum who can answer all your BYB questions.

People in the showing/working world? Would you be willing to keep all of the puppies if couldn't find enough good homes? I ask because you said you're looking for more dogs of hers to be a part of your family. Sometimes breeders end up with a few more dogs than they had planned for! :)

If you have to ask on the internet for a stud, you've got no business breeding. Anyone with a clue wouldn't have to. They would already have people standing in line. I'm not trying to help you either. I'm trying to help your dog.

And, if you dont want people to think you're from the getto, don't type like it.......you thug, you. :angry7: :bs:

I can't believe you are getting positive responses :?: :?:

You deserve to be flamed.

I'm gonna be leavin this site soon anyway if people don't start saying the truth without worrying about hurting someone's feelings. :-({|=

There should be a hundred people behind me saying......."yeah", but ther isn't???????

Guess you'll fit in well.

Yea...I would keep all of them if I can't find homes for them. I love animals. I've picked up animals in the past that were walkin' down the street. I also have a couple of family members that want a puppy of her's.
