I would rather run my A/C than heat 9 months out of the years LOL.
Not only the cost of oil up here but the cold is awful

I love Texas
I been all over texas when i was young have acouple of relatives down there , I love shopping there to they have the best malls.
And the cloths to die for. The state itself its gorgous. The only thing I didn't like was the snakes.
The desert side have the tumble weeds like you see on TV so cool.
I been to huston, dallas. Larado, Gallviston, I don't care what part its all nice . it was in the month of may I had gone was 110 degrees but a dry hot so not to bad.
