I know I am posting this way after the thread began, however, our puppy has D-mange and DOES itch. I know they say it doesn't itch but in some cases it can irritate the dog. He tends to naw on himself or run alongside the bed or roll around on his back like crazy to relieve his itch. He gained a slight infection from scratching. He doesn't scratch at all times, just occasionally. Skin tests prove it is D- mange and no other.
So my point being, if your dog it irritated by his skin don't rule out D-Mange because they say it doesn't itch. It varies dog to dog, like with almost everything.
