Well I buy Pete n Harry's organic eggs. Says all the right things on it about free range veggie feed with no anti biotic and certified humane. I don't have access to local eggs so the best I can do really
That's ok cowsmom, I was just letting those know that companies lie and just to know what you are getting...funny part is chickens are not vegetarians lol, they are omnivores and eat meat and plant life lol
So today I picked up 3 more bredas, one mottled rooster and 2 black hens who are the sisters to the 2 I already have. They are all in their own coop . Mork and his girls are in the new coop now, stanley and 2 hens are in another coop as they are going to live with a friend for his breeding program.
More of the roo. They are not that much work. I clean the coops every night to keep the cleaning up. One coop gets cleaned before I go to work the other after work. I check food and water every morning and night. That's basically it.
I forgot checking the chickens over to make sure they are healthy.
Yeah I'll never make any side money, between the feed and supplies and time involved I wouldn't make anything back
