Try carrying a squirting bottle, now when my dog sees it, he knows what he was about to do was wrong, and usually wont try the rest of the day. Just give him a squirt in the face when he is about to jump. He is also only 7 months old. I think wearing a muzzle would be a last resort, it does not do the breed in general any justice.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?All Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes must be muzzled and leashed at all times. It's the law. Other wise I'll go to jail for six months and get a hefty fine. Obviously I wouldn't muzzle him if I didn't have to, I think it's cruel. If anything, the muzzle makes him behave worse because he s it so much.
