I just brought my puppy home yesterday. He is 10 weeks old and he is adorable. We have a two year old daughter and she is very excited about him being here. The puppy (we haven't decided on a name yet) seems scared of everything. He will back himself into a corner and not move. Is this normal since everything is still so new to him? Any advice is appreciated!

Regretfully theres not much I can tell you of his parents except that there owner described them as great guard dogs,great with kids and farm raised. The owner met me half way on a 4 hour drive and brought the three pups along. The poor puppy is scared of everything. He will warm up to me and then an hour later doesn't want near me.

I will try and post pics of him tomorrow.
I am just going to try to keep working with him and see how it goes.
Any more advice is greatly appreciated!

I found out today that his bloodline is Johnson. He is getting much better and is not as afraid. I have been socializing him with other people as much as possible. I will post pics soon.
