He's definitely bulldog"ish" but there's no way to tell if he's full blooded AB. Where'd you get him? No papers? He's probably a bulldog cross....or bulldog/terrier cross. Regardless, he looks like a really good lookin' dog. Welcome to the group.

~Shawn

*Edit:
After further reviewing the photos, he REALLY does look like an AB, but could still be an APBT or cross...but I'd put $$$ on AB. :?

Thanks everybody for all your replies. I have one question though, whenever we play with him he always seems to bite our hand(s) really hard and when we go eye level with him he seems to go for the face but before he can bite down he stops. Is thier any way i can stop this?!

Thanks,
-Alex

I'd definitely say he's AB.

To get him to stop with the nipping...whenever he does it, let him KNOW that it hurts and completely stop interacting with him. Make a show of how bad he's hurt you when he nips (even if it doesn't really hurt) and then completely ignore him for a few minutes. Turn your back on him if you must. Eventually he'll draw the connection that nips = hurt = playtime stops...and what fun is that for him? He'd just as soon stop nipping and keep playing. Continuing playing with him after he's nipped you only reinforces the behavior.

Maddi had this bad habit when we brought her home...and she was pretty much full grown (ouch!). It takes a little bit of time, but it works.

Any other ideas? Because whenever we turn around to ignore him he just finds something else to please him. The spray bottle idea isnt quite succesful because whenver we spray him he just stands their. I thank you all for your contribution though!

Well he is very young but AB looking in my book. Will be better able to tell when he is a little older. As for biting I did this with all my dogsa. When they bite I put my thumb on their tongue and press down. I do this and say NO! biting. After a few times of this he puts it together and stops when he hears the word no. It is all part of puppyhood. Enjoy him they grow so fast. He is VERY cute.

He is soooo cute!! When he lays on his back like that sleeping he reminds me of my English Bully, he sleeps the same way.... so comfortable and not a care in the world! Both my Chihuhaua's sleep snuggled in a ball or under something, I don't kno why they think they have to hide to sleep, even if it's in the crook of my arm.

awwww! He is adorable!! He looks kinda like our puppy, Alexis. We don't know what she is either!! Here are some baby pics of her (well, baby to us anyways! We think she was about 9-10 weeks old when we took these pictures, she has grown ALOT since these pictures and she was over pneumonia, etc).

I would put my thumb in my girls' mouth when she used to nip. Worked for us.
