Hello,

I am in Boise Idaho. My daughter brought home a pit bull, then was incarcerated two weeks later. We do not have the time to train and take care of a puppy. It is not fair to her to keep her locked up most of the day. She is about four months old and extremely loveable! If anyone knows of someone in the Boise area who would take her in and give her a good home, please resond. I do not want to take her to the pound, although I believe she would get adopted out quickly. She gets on well with other dogs and is coming around to the cats we have!

Thank you.

What history do you have on her? She doesn't LOOK full pit bull.
Is she spayed?? We're in Eastern WA - could possibly take her but we'd need you to pay for her spay surgery.

I don't have any history on her. She may be a blue nose, but not positive. I have someone interested in her here, but they want to breed her. I would like to see her spayed. It is getting more difficult to think of getting rid of her though as we are becoming attached to her and her to us. My brother has an American Strat and informs me that if I choose to keep her I would have the friendliest, most loveable dog! But, as I said in my original post, we just don't have the time to train her properly.

She is precious and she looks full blooded to me too. I would be VERY picky about who I would adopt a Pit out to. I would not adopt a dog to someone that wants to breed her that tells me that they have little serious knowledge of the breed or breeding for that matter. SHe looks like a great pup but no one knows her history most GOOD breeders want to know AT the very least the genes going into their dogs. I am not saying that she won't make a great family pet she probably will but a pet and a breed worthy dog are two totally different things. Also I would ask for a contract about spaying, fighting, and returns. I would be very cautious with her though there are a lot of bad people out there and you dont want a Pit to fall into the wrong hands.

I know what you mean, I don't want her to fall into the wrong hands, that is why I came here! I don't want to give her to just anybody. She is too sweet to be turned into a fighter. I don't want that to happen. I want her to go to a family that will love her, take care of her and treat her like a member of the family.
