Hi all. Looking to see what the thoughts are on my old english bulldog, 1yr old and her chewing. It's new because she has kind of just started it? I've read vitamin deficiency or lack of attention. Any thoughts or similar actions from any one's pup?

What is your dogs's name? Puppies will chew for at least the first two to three years of their life and sometimes longer.
First, they chew when teething just as babies will do. It helps to relieve any discomfort and to help the new teeth to come through.
Secondly, dogs chew just because they like chewing as a form of entertainment.
Third, they will chew out of boredom or stress. Just make sure you have lots and lots of dog toys/bones to chew on.
Keep ALL other items up and out of his reach or they will be chewed on or chewed up. If it is a matter of his saftey or your house
then crate him at the times you are unable to monitor him. Check out our Training & Obedience section for further info. :)
