This is the my new guy, an early valentine's present from my girlfriend, we think is a male, he isn't tame anyone knows how can i tame him?

The kennel is only a place where they can be out of trouble when im not home, it isn't their permanent place.

Pretty girls. Isn't it the male cockatiels who have the orange cheeks? I may be remembering that wrong. When I first got my cockatoo, he wasn't wild, but he hated me and was scared to death. I got bitten a lot before he realized it wasn't working. Is his cage in an area where you all spend a lot of time? Hopefully he will get used to you all and relax a bit. There are several other bird people here, hopefully one of them will have more advice for you.
