I got a new pup on Saturday, shes a 10 week old shar pei. Previous to bringing her home, Harley(AB) had been fine with my other pup, they play together and i was always having to keep an eye on them running around. Ever since we brought home the sharpie harley hasnt been herself. She still plays with both dogs and runs around a lot, but i guess just not as hyper as she used to. her appetite hasnt changed much, yesterday she left about a quarter of her breakfast but ate fine at night. this morning she ate fine, maybe a little too much. but she just seems sad sometimes. her stool is doing good. and im not sure if she threw up today. i went home on my lunch break and found some food outside her crate, the kibbles were soft but hard in some places, and one piece looked like they had been rolled up in a big ball, too big to have come out of her mouth. i didnt find any liquid with it and her crate look clean. i might have missed them playing with food this morning? and she has been urinating like crazy, we will be coming back inside and maybe 15 minutes later she pees, then another 15 goes by and she does it again, and again. i would think this would be normal for her trying to establish dominance, but its a lot. i still give her the most attention out of all 3 because i dont want her to think shes forgotten. would a new puppy in the house be making her depressed? poor harley, maybe its just too much for her. saturday she bit a flea collar and had an allergic reaction, i had to rush her to the vet to get some injections, she puffed up like mike tyson.

Well, poor Harley has had alot of stressful things happening lately. First she was sick from the collar and that takes time to get out of the system, and now she has to deal with a new pup in HER house that is taking up HER time with you, HER people. Hmmm - wonder what her problem could be. She needs lots of love, hugs and reassurance that you are not giving her up for a new pup. Ignore the pup a little bit and give Harley some extra attention and treats. :D
