yes it did it lsot its cubs and it adopted the baby deer and they are supose to be natural emenies so it was strange but they tracked the lion abd deer since interception and yes it did show the lion attacking one of it's own kind to protect the deer. Unforunately it did have a sad ending because while the lion was protecting the deer she would rest or eat because she just stayed by the deers side they sleep together and everything but the lion got so weak from not eating that the deer ran a little ahead of her round the bend and another lion did kill it and she was so distrout over it she herself got sick. It was amazing the story and so out of the ordinary I was just glued to the tube. i like stories like that it shows there is something higher then us out there cause that sure wasn't normal

Does anyone remember the story recently about a turtle adopting a baby hippo or something like that? Nature is amazing.

I remember something about a turtle but don't remember a hippo. But I love that channel the stories are just incrediable sometimes.

We have long cold winters here also I live in the middle of the boonies as a result for those really miserable days I spend my time watching the Animal, discovery, and National geographic and civilization channels. I believe I’ve watch every nature program every made; nature is so mystifying and amazing.
