i had pet insurance for my parents sheltie and it did pay off towards the end of her life since she had arthritis. i only had the standard plan for and we are now going to get it for our bully's.
does anyone else have it for their's?
what plan did you pick?
THANKS!

i like them - their customer service is really great and it's already paid for itself with medicines and stuff. pretty much as a rule (on the advice of our last vet before we moved) we submit everything whether or not the plan "says" it'll cover it and most of the time we're pleasently suprised.

good luck!

In my opinion the Petsmart insurance is good to have for the first year and if your dog needs to be neutered or spayed. It pays for the spay/neuter which makes up for the cost. It also pays for all office visits and shots. I will not continue our plan after the first year, but it has been very helpful for neuter cost and puppy shots as well as his many emergency vet trips.

Not all petsmarts have a banfield in their stores. It is only for select stores
