Anyone else interested. Alpha and someone else (their name escapes me at the moment) asked to see some pics of my Rottie shar pei mix. Well, here she is. She's unique looking. We can't go through Petsmart or walks through the park without atleast being stopped once to ask what type of dog she is. She was a rescue and until we adopted her, I had never seen a mix like hers before. In the 15 months I've had her, I've seen 4 or 5. I actually fostered one about 3 weeks ago. She was adopted out in the first 2 hours at Petsmart Adoption Day. Somone around here is purposely breeding this mix and a few have been found as strays within the last year.

Awww....Molly is adorable! (Maxi is pretty cute too :wink: ). Very interesting mix indeed...that's a shame it seems like someone is breeding that mix on purpose...and obviously isn't taking care of them. Glad Molly found a good home with you!

not realy what if mr johnson , Allan scoot and panter dident mix bullys and what not to make up are wonderfuls American Bulldogs .... i think its a great looking dog ! like come on theres laradoodles and bugs and so manny more crossees out there not saying i condone crossing breeds for the fun of it but if done rite theres nothing wrong with it id be all over a rottshar.. :wink: .....IMHO

your dog is awesome. face looks exactly like a shar-pei. i once saw a dog that had to be crossed between a shar-pei and a german short hair. had the face of shar-pei but the rest looked exactly like a german short hair. wish i had a camera with me.

It would be one thing to breed this kind of dog responsibly, but
sounds like whoever is doing it doesnt care about the homes the

You've got a point, however considering the thousands and thousands of dogs that are euthanised daily, I don't think mixing breeds because they look cool is wise. JMHO. He does have a very nice dog, I won't argue that. :wink:

What a unique looking dog. I knew someone that adopted a puppy of that mix but I never seen the pup full grown. I am so glad you gave her a wonderful home.

Thanks everybody. I've been blessed. Both of my dogs come from shelters and both were up for adoption for a while with no takers. I don't get it. It was meant to be, I guess.
