How can you tell if your pit is full blooded?

No way to tell unless you have papers on the dog about the parents and the grandparents and etc.

I got my dog from a friend he said that the mother is a pit and they think that the dad is too but dont know for sure because the mother got out one night. Her ears look like a pit but i think her head is to small to be a pit. I will try to post a pic.

There is no way of knowing unless you have registration papers and even then its not 100%.

She definitly looks at least a pit mix! She sure is cute though. When she gets older, it might be easier to tell, but I'd say pit mix

She is a cute little thing, I wish that I could tell you more but as everyone else has said there is just no wya to know.......Her head could fill out when she gets older though

My first thought was pit bull x GSD mix.

She looks all pitbull to me, just looks young. My sass has a tiny head, goofy compared to Dix, she has a noggin like Bella(LOL!)

I saw her and sort of thought she had the face and the eye shape of an akita... definatley has pit in her but I saw akita... could be wrong looked a lot like my Grandma's akita though...


I attached a random pic that I found on google of an akita that has the same eye shape... what does her tail look like???
