I just got a pitbull pup that is about 11 weeks old. I've had him about 5 days so far, and he still acts the same way as the day I set him in the car to bring him home. At his birthsite (with other pups) he was very playful, cheerful and showed good personality, even came up to me when I called and licked me and tried to play/hump. Now ever since, he will not play with me or show any sign of excitement, UNLESS its with another dog (I have 2 labs that play with it all the time and he acts just like a normal happy pup). But at all other times, he's glum, does not move much and seems somewhat skittish towards humans. I'm not sure what age they should be learning their names or responding to me, but so far he acts very strange and the exact opposite of what my other dogs did as pups. Has anyone had similar problems/Think he will grow out of it?
Like I said, around other dogs he seems perfectly normal/very playful, but he does not have much interest in humans at all.
Any help will be appreciated, I'd like to keep him if he would grow out of it. I did not interact w/the parents much but seen them. As far as I could tell they are not very sociable dogs and didn't seem to like the idea of me (a stranger) being around, but did not bark or growl.
p.s
I initially thought the behavior may've been because of worms or another problem I recently noticed (pus-like something coming out of the penis), but if that were the case I would think his attitiude would carry over while socializing with other dogs as well (which it does not, at all)

Thanks alot for any insight
