wondering if anyone can help me please!!

I have recently purchased a puppy (9weeks old) that was sold to me as an english staffy (no papers) as i was fairly new to this breed i wasnt aware of the exact breed standard....what i have is what I call a tan but could be reffered to as a red staffy but has a liver/brown colored nose and green eyes. I was today yelled at on the street by a lady asking why i had purchased a pitt bull and she claims a staffy can not have a red nose and green eyes... if anyone could help me if this is true? or what could be the possible mix of the dog who looks exactly like a tan staffy! wondering where the green eyes could come from? if this could be a fault of a staffy or if a have a pitt bull mix?? please help! have included a picture that i recieved off the breeder of her and her sister!! any ideas? opinions??!

They could possibly be APBT and Staffy mix.
I was also told before that Staffies don't have red noses, not sure how true it is but I've never seen a show Staffy with one.
At 9 weeks its possible the eyes may turn brown. I had a Sorrells male whos eyes whee a blueish green and changed brown when he got older.

But with out legitament papers its unsure.

Do you have pictures of the parents?

I'm assuming english staffy means Staffordshire Bull Terrier?

According to the AKC site, any shade of liver is a fault. Never the less, looks like you have a beautiful little girl there. How much does she weigh? My staffy at that age was about 10lbs. Staffys are often smaller than pits.
