Here is ICE, my female.
Just haveing some fun and calming her down while on a bite. Yep, the dog likes to bite. We will go for our BSTII and ring bravet this trial year. Oh and of course, our PDC and PSA 1.

Just want to add. THIS IS NOT WORK FOR A NOVICE!!!!!!!! VERY VERY DANGEROUS WORK.

This is hidden sleeve work and the dog MUST HAVE VERY VERY VERY HIGH LEVEL OBEDIENCE BEFORE YOU EVEN ATTEMPT THIS SORT OF WORK. This is not for someone with a sleeve and I want to see what my dog does.

ps: now that's a full bite!
NICE!!! :D One day I will make it down there an spend a day at your club, one day, lol
holy mackeral! What kind of security system is that? LOL
Wow! That's incredible!
no more squeegee bums asking for change!!!

LOL. She is sooooooo wound up after hidden sleeve work.

Ya, she bites deep. She has been taught to bite deeper and deeper. That is how she wins.

I am always mesmerized by her drive. Here is a dog that did not fully mature mentally until 3.5 years old.

LOL. Thats what I thought! Wow for anybody who'd ever try to break into your car they'd get a nice surprise! I bet they'd never do it again probably wouldnt even have a arm left. She's looks like she's got an extra extra strong hold on him!
CLICK CLICK, PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE< ALARM ACTIVATED> That is a DEEP mouth full there. Why don't you do some videos so we can get the full effect???? That would be way cool.
yep

Nobody is going to walk off with my dogs. ahahahahhahahahaha.

What you don't see is the bad guy screaming right into the dog's head and hitting it in the back to let go. Name of the game is PRESSURE AND NERVES. She LIVE for this type of work.

In my mind, she is what I strive for in an AB. Smart, easy to train, stable, brutally strong, protective, and LOVES kids. AND loyal. I made a lot of mistakes with her, but her genetics always pulled her through.

She actaully gets diarhea when I go on work trips. Man, she misses me terribly. She is a very good dog.
Wow, talk about commitment! Great shots Peter...how about posting them on my clubs board? Maybe Frabo can put them up at the top of the board for a few days? Hasn't been an AB up there in a while ;)

3.5 years old before she matured? That gives me hope with my female..she's almost 2 but still so puppyish! I guess she still has a ways to go.
yep she is now 4.5

when Ice was 2 she was always crazy drivey, but it was all prey.
It was only when she turned 3 or 3.5 that she got serious about her work. Now, she has settled down. Not as hectic.

My only concern with her at 2 was never about drive. It was about real courage. I had her "tested". I decided to keep her.

She was just dammmm goofy...........there is nothing goofy about the dog now.

Give your girl a chance to mature........if you believe in her.
Thanks, Peter...

Smooch is kinda funny. I know she isn't all prey because she has bitten for real in a couple of situations at training (if that makes any sense :? ) ....she definitley has that edge to her....I just hope her nerve will continue to handle the pressure as its escalates..that is the biggest thing I worry about with her. She is definitely alot different than my male! I will continue working her for now as even my trainer suggested I give her until 3 to see what she is made of. Unless something real drastic happens I will do that. Keep your fingers crossed for me...I would really hate to wash her out after all this work...but I guess thats the way things go in this game. :(

On second thought maybe I will wash her out 'cause training her is just too much work and takes up so much of my time. I'll make a fancy website of my dogs with all those full mouth bite pics I have of her and breed her to my male. I bet those pics would be a great selling feature and sell many puppies!! LMAO

Stupid question...the thing he's holding...he doesn't actually hit your dog with that, does he?

Very nice pictures, gorgeous dog.
yep.

the dog does get hit with a bamboo stick. It is splayed to displace the blows. YOu can definitely feel it but it dies nothing to the dogs. In fact, they go all mental when they see it. Happiness.

To be sure, this sport is not for weak minded dogs.

In the courage test, the dog gets two stick hits and if it does not committ, the decoy will literally run it over. It is harsh, but like I said, that is why not many dogs are in it.

Oh and if you believe this is mistreatment, go and see the decoy's bodies and then the dog's bodies. The ones bleeding will be the decoy.
And the dogs don't get a mark on them. Safety during work is HEAVILY emphasized in any protection sport. In fact, a judge will kick you out if ANYONE mistreats their dog. I mean ANYONE. After all this training, these dogs become very valuable and extremely loved.
