I always got up and walked away. Usually he would follow me, but I wouldn't pay attention to him for 2-3 minutes. Then I'd go back to playing with him until he nipped again. Repeat.
I guess we got lucky. I can put my fingers in Haus' mouth now, and he will push them out with his tongue, or move his head.
