Hi my first post!

I have an American Bulldog pup who is the grandsire/son (sorry not that good at the terminology yet) of Alan Scott's Crusher.

Here is my question; he just turned five months old and I just weighed him at 55lbs. Any idea on what his weight might be at maturity?

Thanks Bubba,

That is what I have been estimating. I found a couple growth charts online that all seem to be off from my expirences. They generally saw that a dog is going to reach half their mature weight at 3.5 - 4 months, which seems to be way too soon from my experiences. I also wanted to assure myself that he was not going to be 125 lbs.

yeah alot of those charts are off, I agree.

If your dog is active and thereby fairly muscular Id guess about 85-90lbs...

If he is a fatty(i dont mean that negativley) he could be anywhere from 90-110 (depending on just how chubby he is, lol)

If your dog is incredibly active (i.e. long walks runs, constant movement, weight pulling, etc) and thereby super muscular and no fat Id guess about 90-95lbs...

He definetly comes from working lineage so I bet he is gonna want to get out there and go... have fun:)
