My AB puppy is tail biting/tail chasing. My Staffie did this for a little bit when she was a pup but grew out of it. I normally wouldn't think anything of it but I've been reading up a bit on Canine Compulsive Disorder and now I'm getting a little paranoid. Do you think its something I should discourage somehow? If so, how?

He's got plenty to do, I'm home with him all day, he's always going on walks, playing with my SBT, playing with me, getting plenty of crate time to chill and sleep.

As long as he's not making sore spots on his tail or it's looking like somethings wrong with it (crooked inflamed, etc), I wouldn't worry about it. Most dogs will chase their own tails -provided they have one to chase (Annie tries to chase her's but it's docked so it's even funnier cuz she really has a hard time catching it) at some point or another.
