My last (first) litter, I thought they didn't open they're eyes until about 2+ weeks. Well, this time three of them were already opening one of them at 8 days. And, one is already opening the second one at 9 days. I'm just curious, if I could find out from the seasoned breeders, which is more normal, 1 week, 2 weeks, or other?

I thought it was early, from my ONE experience and what I remember reading.... :?:

I put pics up of 1 week, but it was a day before their eyes started opening. I'll get more up in a couple more days, probably at 2 weeks.

5 of them have both eyes open now, already. I'll be posting more pics this evening.

Everyone loves that one. I like her, the one w/ the white face and spot over her right eye (next to last pic), the fawn, and the male... Oh, heck, I like all of them!

They are too cute! Our pups opened their eyes Monday and they were only 10 days old...our last litter didn't open their eyes until after 2 weeks....

LOL. I'd do that, but I don't think Montana and Mosley would let anyone in...
One time we were going out of town we were going to have a lady come by and feed them, let them out, spend time with them, etc. She came to the house while we were there to meet them. Everything was fine. Then, we did a test run without us being there.....Mosley wouldn't let her near the door and she didn't dare try to go in anyway.... Needless to say, she didn't pet sit for us... I don't care what anyone says, people come to visit, they're the sweetest dogs, but if you come and we're not home or they don't know you....you won't want to open the door.
