Either way - they're both beautiful, but they don't look like my pitbull. The first one looks more pit than the second, but neither look pure to me.

They look like what people call those "monster" pits. But either way they are both good looking dogs, the first one looks alittle he may be mixed. The way his nose is shaped (may be the picture) but it seems alittle long for an APBT.

Second could be a mix but may be an AmStaff style pit.

Nice looking dogs. Both are undoubtedly pits by today's standards, but to me, these two are markedly different from the small and lean classic pits. I'm by no means an expert in apbt breeding or bloodlines, but I would guess that somewhere in their pedigree is another breed. Its purely conjecture, but many 'contemporary' pits look like they could have AB, dogo, DDB, or neo blood in them.

Loki, most of today's pits are mixed with something.
It's really hard finding a standard one, the best bet to find a real pit is not from a breeder..

But from a shelter/rescue.

Funny how people pay for dogs that don't even resemble their breeds, when
there are perfect specimans that can't even be given away.

Not to insult anyone who may have purchased their pit, but it is ironic..

Like someone said, Pits has a bunch of other breeds mixed in. The first two look like the new bully breed type of pits and the 3rd one looks like staffy bull or original APBT
