Yes, I agree...put the weight on slowly...my recent rescue is pretty thin too...but I'm feeding her what I think will be her maintenance amount will be...it's been 10 days and you can still see her ribs, but she's starting to fill in ...looking much better...
...and I also agree...if she's arthritic, she shouldn't be running more than what she wants to do on her own...but long walks would likely be beneficial unless she's severely arthritic...
