My staffie was 12 years old.One of the most active dogs ive seen and cant ask for more as a companion.2months ago he developed a severe case of uvitis and went blind.he managed quite well but then uvitis started causing major pain around his face.he couldnt eat properly due to pain.I had to put him down on 20-08-06.this was the hardest decision i had to make in my entire life.its like now i lost part of me.i feel lost and my hearts still crying everyday for him.

I know how hard it is to lose a close companion.
There is hardly a day that goes by i dont miss my Sheepdog,
she was 12 and lost her in March.

I am so sorry - you did the right thing but I know that is little consolation at a time like this
