The more you take he out, the more she'll become acclimated to all these new sights, sounds and smells she encounters. She may always be a "skittish" dog, but as she gets older and is introduced to new things she should get better. 
Disclaimer: I'm not an expert :wink: BUT, If I were you, I wouldn't pick her up when she's scared, coddling her could make it worse. Also when you say, " I just leave her there for a few minutes", are you staying there with her? She should be near you, so that she can pick up on your calm energy. If you become anxious for her, she will pick up on that. Just be calm, and she should calm down, too. She is so adorably cute. I just love her.Jedda said:
thank you , when she gets scared i just pick her up & bring her back inside or somtimes leave her there for a few minutes and just try and see if she gets better. but when shes at home she loves it out the back. she gets her next needles this week then ill try taking her to other places to get use too new places.
