We decided to come home early. The weather up north was getting rather crappy with snow/rain mix predicted for either tonight or Sunday.

ANYWAY... We went to get Annie this morning! She is just soo beautiful! She has gone from solid chocolate to a very pretty chocolate brindle! Her eyes are green too right now. I really hope they stay green, but if not, thats fine too!

Here she is! (sorry about the quality - lil' bugger just wont sit still :lol: )

"So, where we goin?"

"Now, which leaf was it I was chasing?"

"Please Mom! Let me go swimmin'" (No I didn't let her go in the lake)

"Im ready for my close up!"

"Are we home yet?" (she rode in her crate most of the way home - it was a 4 hour drive - so I let her sit on me for a bit)

"Whew! That was a long trip! Finally we're home"

Thanks all! We are pretty smitten with her. I've forgotten what it's like having a young puppy around! It's been soooo long - but I'm sure I'll enjoy it!

OT - we went to the casino last night for dinner (AWSOME food) and we decided that we'de each put $20 in a machine (nickel slots - we're cheap :lol: ) and when it's gone it's gone. Hubby left $1.65 ahead and I left $67.95 ahead. Woo Hoo! I know that's not much - but for me that's awsome! I always lose it all. This is the first time I've ever won anything at one of the casinos!

Thanks everyone! So far we are doing alright. I can tell she misses her mom (littermates left to their new homes last Friday) - she gets really whinny when she's put in her crate - but she'll get over it. She's got a nice stuffy to sniggle with - not the same as her mom - or me for that matter - but it's better then nothing.

She's going to be a fun dog! I can't hardly wait to start doing stuff with her!
