I noticed Sam was a little more subdued than normal today (she did get rowdy and play a bit this AM but quickly settled down) and she didnt' eat her food last night OR today (she can be spotty - not sure she's in love w/ it) and now I've noticed her nose is warm and dry. Aren't their nose's supposed to be cool/damp? Any thoughts? Anything in paticular that I should watch for in her breed (APBT) that she is especially vulnerable to?

I wouldn't woory just yet. Jazzy has times where her nose is dry. If she's not eating normally in the next few days, then I'd start to be concerned. Are her bathroom habits normal?

How old is the dog, and has it had all of it's vaccines? Any other symptoms?

Sam is approx. 7-9 mos of age. She's UTD on her shots and her bathroom habits seem normal to me if normal means she's been peeing and pooping. She was drinking her water earlier so she's not turning her nose up to that. She's napping in her crate right now but still seems subdued for some reason. I'll keep an eye on her, maybe she's just tired today - it's a little warm here.
