Harley took on quick. He is extremely toy happy and will bark at you when you just stand there without throwing said toy. So I used that to my advantage.
Figure out what makes them bark. Then figure out what the dog does immediately before the bark. Then, when you see that que, give them the command you plan on using..
Worked for me. I'm having trouble with the quiet command now though LOL.
Since he was taught to speak, he hasn't stopped talking. :lol:
I saw "rooing" mentioned as well. He does that a lot now too.
Edit: I should have read through the whole thread. I see that toys and such were already mentioned.
