Well, most of you know the Sugar story and since I have had her back things have been just like they were before she left. When I got her she was a mess. She had a huge sore on her back and I cleaned it up and put some antibiotic on it and it healed up nice. I was told that it was a tick that they used a razor to remove but it just really looked like a hot spot that hadn't been taken care of. Well, now that spot won't grow hair. Is is because it is a scar now? It isn't really that big maybe the size of a dime. Do you think it was a hot spot that left a scar? Is that normal.

if its a scar it wont grow hair you should be able to tell if its a scar does it feel like a scar? if so it probly is

did you ever get it scrapped at the vets? CC had mange and it was a spot about the size of a quarter.

Koda has a place like that on his side where he scratched himself on his crate as a pup, and his hair won't grow back either.

most likely is a scar, and if it is, like everyone else said, hair won't grow over it. Not like it matters! Scars add character! I love my scars! lol. Just tell her it gives her some street cred!
