My Boy has been licking his left lower leg joint for a few days. Now there is noticeable swelling. He has a very slight limp after laying down and getting up. He still runs if excited by noise...guests ...etc. 8 yrs old and in good shape....no injuries that were noticed. He does jump down from our bed which is fairly high. IK that's not good and he is now restricted. Just started giving him tumeric yesterday and he has an old scrip for Zubrin. Also wondering if cold pack apply might help.

Hi Kenny N Buck - Welcome to the community. Please check out the forum rules and sign them.
I am sorry your dog is having these issues. There are several things that could be causing his discomfort.
Arthritis, pulled tendon, bone issues, etc. Ice would probably help but he definitely needs a to be scoped out
by a vet in order to find the issue. Good luck.
