Are they good examples of the breed?
NO!
Regardless of your preference for bulldog looks, any dog that can't work does not belong in a breeding program. Breeding only for conformation ruins breeds - there are countless examples of this, and I hate to see AB's become another one. I hate to see people breeding for exaggerated looks and turning the AB into the same kind of physical and mental wrecks as all those other freaky looking show dogs.
Estate guardians? You're lucky if they can run from one end of the estate to the other on a hot day.
