i was just wondering why this forum does not have the ability to tag in posts. such as by quoting someone or by @theirname. most forums have this ability and its kinda cool so that someone knows your talking to them and not have to repeatedly check the thread for a new post. just wondering is all

Their are two ways to quote. Either by clicking on the quote box on the bottom right side of the post, this adds their name as above - or in your reply.

2) You can highlight and copy the verse and then paste into your post. Then highlight it. At the top of the reply box you will see a little yellow letter with a quote mark at the bottom of it. While your verse is highlighted key on the yellow letter. This is what I did to your question above. Is this what you wanted to do?

no thats not what i meant. i know how to quote some one i was wondering why when i do quote someone it doesnt notify them that i have quoted them. the only way i know you quoted me is to come back here and see it.

The main reason this function isn't available right now is because of the version of the software we're running. I will check with our team to see if there is an available plug-in to activate what you're requesting. If there isn't one, it will require us to upgrade the software which is something we will eventually do.
