Hi all...

My big boy Apollo got a 3 inch gash on his neck, about 1/4 inch deep. No clue how he got it, but he did have a little sore there that I had cleaned up, but what I think happened was that there was buildup of puss underneath the skin. He must have finally scratched hard enough & ripped it open with his nails. $311 later & a trip to " Puppy ER " & all is well. Has to keep this thing on for a week to 10 days. Oh yeah, you guys wanna see something funny ?? Have your bully on morphine. He was so dope drunk, it was hilarious. Until I had to pick up his 89 lb dead weight body & bring him in the house.

Later,
Chap

The morphine was the best. He came out of the office, walked over to me & my wife, BAMM, on the floor. We coaxed him up & he was walking like he just drank Mad Dog 20/20. Made it just outside the office door, BAMM, on the sidewalk. I had to pull my car to him, pick him up, & put him in the back. Now, we get home, & my wife goes to subdue our German Sheppard who is in heat at the time. I get Apollo out of the back of my Honda Element, & he actually walk to the door leading in from the garage. BAMM, on the garage floor. He had had it. I had to carry him the rest of the way. It was quite a site, i gotta tell ya. Worth the price of admission...

Thanx

In & out of the car wasnt that bad, but when i had to pick him up & carry him through the house, that was bad news. Arms shaking, trying to get through doorways. Almost dropped him twice...
