I feel for ya! My oldest two play violas (large violins). those first few weeks were excrutiating! Oh...and if you think it's bad now, wait until you have to go to the first concert...and there's several dozen kids playing instruments! ACK!

It will get better though...buy Stella (and the new pup!) some ear plugs :wink:

Too funny! I could never practice in the same room as our old GSD - he would howl and howl!

My advice - take back the clarinet and give her a sax or guitar.
It won't spare yer ears any, but (unless yer into classical music) there much more of an upside!
