that our 4 1/2 month old bulldog in febuaryafter all traces of her baby teeth are out and we get her fixed that we will also need to expand her nostrils.

i know bulls have breathing probs, but how common is widening the nostrils???

get a second opinion on that.
Yes..the rare bulldog does need it's nares widened.....but not nearly as many as the vets think.
If a dog's nares were that bad it would probably also have a palete problem.
Unless she is struggeling for air and passing out I'd leave her alone.
If she is 2 years old and still seems to have a problem I would take a second look..her nose still has a ton of growiing and changing to do at 4 1/2 months
