does anyone else have the threads they comment on disappear? Its driving me crazy. I cant see when other people reply back.

Does everyone else just click...New Post to see all the latest posts?

I click New Posts, and then if I comment on a thread and then click New Post, that particular thread disappears. Then I just go to my profile and see everything I have commented on to see if anyone replied.

Can i change a setting on my side to fix this?

I never use the "New Post" function - because I read all new posts. Any area that shows up red means new replies since I last viewed the thread and then once I read the new posts that goes away until someone else replies to that. You can tell just by looking at the main forum when you first log on in this fashion.

Once you comment on it, the database marks it as read by you, so it is no longer a new post to you. If someone comments on it again, it will show up back under new posts. I never use that function, I just look at the main forum to see what is red.

Ok so where does stuff show up as "red". I think I see that as bold but still black.

This disappearing issue is new though, about two weeks ago Nothing disappeared!

That was due to a change I made. The database wasn't marking posts as read, even though they were. Now, once you read them, it marks them as read.
