I have read several of your posts and I must say that you really worry way too much. Stop analyzing everything and just enjoy your puppy. They really shouldn't be so fragile that we need to worry about every little move we make or don't make with them. Go with the flow and try to stop being so paranoid. Some of the things you ask about have been asked many times over, go back and read some of the old threads. You will probably learn a lot and save people from having to re hash the most basic things over and over.

I am a recovering worry wort! I was a nervous wreck the first week I brought Lucy home. I've learned to sit back and observe Lucy. Now I'm learning how much play time is enough for her and when she should be in the crate. I can tell when she's had enough. Lucy get's about 30 minutes on average through out the day when she comes out of the crate. We try to keep her out of the crate at night for at least 2 hours before her bedtime. This allows me a better nights sleep.
